A catalog of examples of line bundle extension behavior under the Satake-Baily-Borel compactification of many period map constructions
project for Math+ 2026 with Aryan Agarwal, William Anderson, George Hall, Michael Klausner, Lauren Schwartz, Austin Setzler, with amazing guidance by Prof. Collen Robles, Prof. Farid HosseiniJafari, and Jin Lee (my goat). we take manifolds and lattices constructed in special ways to have wanted Hodge information, compactify the manifolds, and then look at what happens to the natural Hodge line bundles during this process. i looked at the constructions with Q[\sqrt{d}, i] fields and the quaternion algebras.
Ability of humans to distinguish between AI-generated and human-written texts: a meta-analysis
this was some really fun data to look at. surprisingly, there is not really a trend on whether people can detect AI-generated text. i plan on re-doing this whole analysis in a few months when i have time. plan to look more thoroughly for papers and hopefully people have done more papers with more recent models. imo claude at least has a very distinct voice, don't know about other models.i will update when i have time to update this
